One Cab and Iron Will Bring a Four-Band Hardcore Bill to Dubrek This September

Derby’s grassroots scene gets another heavy one this September as One Cab and Iron Will Promo join forces for a four-band hardcore bill at Dubrek Studios on Thursday 3 September 2026.

Heading up the night are Nylon, joined by Human Deceit, Actin’ Up and Sick Cult for an evening firmly planted in the heavier end of the underground. Tickets are just £5, keeping the show accessible and continuing the steady stream of affordable grassroots gigs happening across Derby.

The collaboration brings together two promoters active within the underground scene. One Cab have been putting on a varied run of shows at Dubrek throughout 2026, while Iron Will Promo have been pushing the heavier side of the local live circuit. Together, they make a natural pairing for a night built around hardcore and DIY music.

With Nylon, Human Deceit, Actin’ Up and Sick Cult all packed onto one bill, this is another example of what Derby’s smaller venues do particularly well. Four bands, an intimate room and a ticket price that costs less than plenty of pints in the city centre.

It also continues a busy year for Dubrek, with the Bridge Street venue providing a home for everything from hardcore and punk to experimental music, electronic nights and independent showcases.
