Crooks are heading back to the stage. The Cheltenham post-hardcore band have announced their ‘I Still Hear You’ UK and European tour for April and May 2027, marking their first live dates since 2016. The seven-show run will take them across mainland Europe before finishing at London’s Oslo Hackney on 8 May, currently the only UK date announced.

For anyone discovering them through the reunion announcement, Crooks emerged from the UK’s DIY hardcore scene, building a following through small-room shows and extensive touring. Early releases including Nevermore and Still introduced their blend of melodic hardcore urgency and emotionally charged singing, with vocalist Josh Rogers’ clean vocals becoming a defining part of their sound. Their progress eventually took them onto bills alongside Being as an Ocean, Coheed and Cambria and Glassjaw.

Their debut album, Are We All the Same Distance Apart, arrived through Equal Vision Records in October 2015. Featuring tracks including ‘Above Me’, ‘Schöne Seele’ and ‘A Few Peaceful Days’, it remains the starting point for anyone wanting to catch up before the reunion shows.

The band’s last live appearances were in 2016, with a performance at 2000trees that July among their final documented shows. They released the single ‘.NEVAREHT’ that October, but never formally announced a split or hiatus, leaving their future unresolved as the years passed. The newly announced dates will bring that absence to an end more than a decade later.

The return begins at Gebäude 9 in Cologne on 22 April, followed by stops in Berlin, Prague, Vienna and Milan, plus an appearance at Munich’s Rites of Spring Festival. London closes the run a week later.

Tickets go on sale on Wednesday 28 October, with the London show available from 10am UK time. Tickets for Oslo Hackney are available through Live Nation.
