Sonic Waves: Clones of Sirius + Praetorian + Accelerated Mutation + Torkage

Riff Riot brings Sonic Waves to Dubrek Studios in Derby on Friday 30 October 2026, with Clones of Sirius headlining alongside Praetorian, Accelerated Mutation and Torkage. Formed in Derby in 2022, Clones of Sirius combine hardcore and thrash intensity with blackened death metal, delivering an aggressive sound that moves freely between the heavier corners of extreme music.

North Hertfordshire four-piece Praetorian bring a mix of blackened sludge, heavy doom riffs and hardcore aggression, drawing on influences including Acid Bath, Iron Monkey and Eyehategod. Accelerated Mutation add blast-beat-driven thrash punk, while Torkage complete the bill with black metal. Across four acts, expect an evening that shifts between crushing grooves, frantic speed and darker atmospheres, with Derby’s own extreme metal scene taking the headline slot.
