Sonic Waves: Outback + Gandalf The Green + Psilonaut

Riff Riot brings Sonic Waves to Dubrek Studios in Derby on Saturday 10 October 2026, with Outback headlining a three-band bill alongside Gandalf the Green and Psilonaut. Expect an evening of heavy riffs, fuzz and psychedelic atmosphere, with plenty for fans of doom and stoner rock to get stuck into.

Hailing from Brighton, Outback draw on the crushing weight of Black Sabbath and Electric Wizard, alongside the darker, atmospheric influence of Windhand and Faetooth. Their sound balances heavy doom riffs with haunting textures, bringing both muscle and mood to the headline slot. Joining them, West Yorkshire trio Gandalf the Green blend psychedelic doom metal with thick fuzz and raw vocals, moving between punishing heaviness and more spacious, trippy passages. With Psilonaut completing the line-up, Sonic Waves offers a chance to explore the heavier side of the underground.
