This vibrant showcase features a stellar lineup of rising local talent, headlined by the uplifting indie-pop outfit JONK, with electrifying support from Ember, Canvas Tile and Floodlines.

Taking place just a stone’s throw from Derby Railway Station, the Vic is known for its intimate, friendly atmosphere and great selection of drinks. Whether you’re a seasoned gig-goer or new to the scene, this event promises an eclectic journey through sound – from euphoric pop to nostalgic rock, dreamy shoegaze to experimental alt-rock.

JONK, the evening’s headliner, offers an energising blend of feel-good indie pop. With a focus on musical escapism, their set is designed to lift spirits and transport listeners from the everyday, providing the perfect close to a dynamic evening.

EMBER, influenced by iconic names like The Pixies and Oasis, delivers a throwback to the golden era of 90s indie/rock. Expect gritty guitars, heartfelt lyrics and a sound that feels both familiar and fresh.

CANVAS TILE brings a shoegaze twist to the lineup. Drawing comparisons to My Bloody Valentine and Slowdive, their dreamy, layered soundscapes provide a sonic backdrop that’s immersive and emotional.
