The wait might finally be over. For the first time in seven years, it looks as though Radiohead are preparing to step back onto the stage. Flyers have begun appearing in cities across Europe, sending fans into overdrive with speculation that the band are about to announce a full tour for later this year.

Flyers Fuel Tour Rumours

Posters have been spotted in London, Copenhagen and Bologna, emblazoned with dates in November and December. In London, the flyers point to a four-night residency beginning on November 21, while in Copenhagen the band appear set for a similar run in early December. The design and tone are unmistakably Radiohead, and fans have been quick to share photographs online, treating them as near confirmation of the group’s long-awaited return.

Last Tour: A Seven-Year Hiatus

If these shows go ahead, they would mark Radiohead’s first live appearances since 2018. Their last tour, which closed with a sold-out show in Philadelphia, followed the release of A Moon Shaped Pool and was hailed as one of the band’s most ambitious live productions. Since then, members have been busy with side projects, but the absence of Radiohead as a collective has left an unmistakable gap on the live circuit. For many, the idea of hearing classics like “Paranoid Android” or “Idioteque” played once more feels almost too good to be true.

Last Year’s Rumour: Charity Auction Sparks Hopes

This isn’t the first time whispers of a comeback have surfaced. Last year, rumours spread after the band’s management donated a set of tickets to a charity auction, described as being valid for a future Radiohead concert. Although the details were later softened, it was enough to reignite hopes among loyal followers that a new tour was on the horizon.

A Long-Awaited Return

Seven years is a long time in music. In that span, entire new movements have emerged, yet Radiohead remain a band whose influence has never waned. If these flyers are indeed the beginning of a proper announcement, it could be one of the most significant comebacks of the decade. Fans across the world are already bracing themselves for what promises to be an unmissable run of shows.
