London rising star Liam C is officially returning to Derby for not one, but two performances in a single day after phenomenal demand saw his original show sell out in rapid time.

Promoters The Indie Night have now confirmed a special matinee performance at Mr Shaw’s House on Saturday 6th June, giving fans another chance to catch one of the UK’s fastest-rising live artists before tickets disappear once again.

The newly announced matinee show will open doors at 4PM, with support coming from Southpaw Grammar. Tickets are priced at £12 plus booking fee and go live at 6PM on Friday 15th May via Skiddle.

Liam C has rapidly become one of the UK’s most talked about breakthrough artists, building a huge audience through emotionally honest songwriting, genre-blurring production and a magnetic live presence. Blending indie pop, rock and rap influences into a sound that feels both modern and deeply personal, the London-based artist has exploded across TikTok and social media over the last year, attracting millions of views and major viral attention.

What makes the story even bigger is how organic the rise has been. Liam C famously went from busking on the streets with a ukulele to sharing viral moments alongside global names including Stormzy, Will Smith and Ed Sheeran. It is the kind of rise that feels genuinely grassroots, which makes this upcoming Derby appearance feel even more special.

The fact that the original Derby date sold out so quickly says a lot about the momentum behind him right now. Fans clearly do not want to miss the opportunity to experience the intensity and connection of a Liam C live show inside the intimate surroundings of Mr Shaw’s House, one of Derby’s most respected independent grassroots venues.

Known for championing alternative culture, emerging artists and community-driven music events, Mr Shaw’s continues to establish itself as one of the city’s most important creative spaces. Hosting an artist with Liam C’s current level of buzz feels like another huge moment for Derby’s live music scene and another major booking secured by The Indie Night.

With the first performance already completely sold out, expectations are high that this newly added matinee date will follow quickly. Anyone considering going would be wise not to wait around on this one.

Doors open at 4PM on Saturday 6th June. The event is 14+ with an adult accompanying under 18s.

Tickets are available now via Skiddle.
