Punks Against Cancer Returns to Derby with Huge 2027 Line-up Announced

One of Derby’s biggest grassroots charity music events is officially back. Punks Against Cancer has announced its return to The Hairy Dog from Friday 30 April to Sunday 2 May 2027, bringing together three days of live music, community spirit and fundraising in support of Macmillan Cancer Support.

Following another hugely successful event that raised more than £10,000 for Macmillan Cancer Support, organisers are aiming to make the 2027 edition even bigger. This year’s festival will feature 27 bands, with more still to be announced, celebrating everything from street punk and Oi! to hardcore, ska and alternative rock, all while raising money for an incredible cause.

The festival has become far more than just a weekend of live music. It has grown into a community-led event where bands, fans, volunteers and local businesses come together to support people affected by cancer while showcasing some of the best punk talent from across the UK and beyond.

Local businesses can also get involved by sponsoring the event.
