By K Futur MusicDubrek Studios in Derby was absolutely buzzing on Saturday 20th September as Loue Marc hosted his much-anticipated PARTY event at the iconic Bridge Street venue. From the 7pm start, the space was packed wall-to-wall, bringing together an incredible mix of music, art and fashion that kept the city’s underground scene alive well into the night.
Loue Marc lit up the stage with a headline set that didn’t disappoint, backed by a whole host of other exciting acts. DJ Xixi and Jazzy had the crowd moving with high-energy performances, while Vat6re delivered a standout set that had everyone talking. The night featured plenty of fresh talent, with diverse artists bringing their own unique sound and keeping the energy levels sky-high from start to finish.
Adding to the cultural mix, Derby’s own skate brand Boredom in the UK ran a pop-up shop showcasing their anarchic, punk-inspired streetwear – perfectly matching the rebellious, creative vibe of the party. Capturing the whole atmosphere was local photographer Sam Saxby, whose lens documented the raw energy, the crowd’s excitement, and the vibrant pulse of Derby’s hip hop and art scene.
Once again, Dubrek Studios proved itself as one of Derby’s most exciting grassroots venues, spotlighting new voices and creating an unforgettable cultural experience. PARTY by Loue Marc was more than just a gig – it was a celebration of music, style and community spirit, showing just how strong Derby’s underground scene really is.
