Saturday 8 November in Derbyshire felt alive again as Valley One returned to Shirland Miners Welfare for a free gig…
By K Futur LOCALLegendary pro-skater and prank-instigator Bam Margera is back in the spotlight. On 30 October 2025, he will release a brand new free film on YouTube: Bam Margera Presents: Lost Boys Never Die! The announcement came via his Instagram post, where he explained that the film was originally shot in 2004 during the making of the music video for The 69 Eyes’ track Lost Boys. The project has remained unfinished for decades – until now.
What the Documentary Delivers
According to Bam himself, the film comes packed with the chaos and creativity fans love him for – tons of unseen footage, with all of the pranks, stunts and skateboarding you’d expect from a Bam Margera production. The film stars Bam alongside friends and long-time collaborators including Steve-O, Brandon Novak, Raab Himself and Joe Frantz, with archival appearances from Ville Valo of HIM, the late Ryan Dunn, Jimmy Pop of Bloodhound Gang, and of course his family – Jess, April and Phil Margera.
The material spans two decades in the making – filmed in 2004, shelved for years, now remastered and finally edited with new interviews. It’s a bold move from someone whose presence has been unpredictable in recent times, but one that taps neatly into the nostalgia wave among skate and prank-video fans.

Why This Release Matters Now
I recently re-watched Viva La Bam and CKY Landspeed with my two eldest sons, and to hear this news couldn’t come at a better time. Those early days of CKY and Bam’s MTV era were a huge part of my youth, and being able to revisit that energy with my kids – and now enjoy something brand new together – feels special. It’s great to see Bam back creating, skating and doing exactly what we all loved him for.
For anyone who grew up on that golden era of skate videos and Jackass-style chaos, this release hits perfectly. Lost Boys Never Die promises to be both a trip down memory lane and a fresh dose of the madness that defined Bam’s world.
A Free Gift to the Fans
Making the film completely free on YouTube is a meaningful gesture. In an age of paywalls and subscription fatigue, Bam is giving something back to the people who’ve stuck by him. He’s made it clear that this release is a gift of appreciation for years of love and support – “because love is the most important thing.”
It’s pure Bam – heartfelt, chaotic and generous – and a reminder of why so many people still root for him.

Plus: New Hardware on the Horizon
The documentary is the headline, but Bam’s return doesn’t stop there. He’s also teamed up with Sidewalk Distribution’s Slappy Trucks to launch his own signature skateboard trucks: BAM x SLAPPY, set to drop in February 2026. Pre-orders are open now until 15 November 2025.
After keeping it clean for a year and staying sober, Bam is stepping back into the skate world hard. People doubted he’d ever show up again – some even said he wouldn’t make it into Tony Hawk 3+4 – but he’s proved everyone wrong. The new trucks are a reminder that he’s not just back, he’s skating, creating and reconnecting with the scene that made him a legend.
If you want to ride like Bam or just level up your setup, this is the one to watch for.
Final Thoughts
This Halloween week, mark your calendar. On 30 October, hit YouTube and get ready for Lost Boys Never Die! – a long-lost piece of Bam’s history, brought back to life with new energy and raw emotion. Whether you were there during the CKY days or you’re discovering it all for the first time, this film has something for everyone.
We’re genuinely excited. Seeing Bam skate again, tell stories, and share footage from one of his most creative eras feels like a gift. The mix of unseen footage, the free release, and the new hardware collaboration all point to a proper comeback.
It’s the perfect way to kick off Halloween week – nostalgic, loud, full of heart – and we can’t wait to watch it and give our verdict once it drops.
