Skylights + Supports

Skylights head to The Hairy Dog in Derby on Saturday 17 October 2026 as part of their UK tour, presented by The Derby Indie Collective. Joining them are The Glasshouse, Zebedee, Taylor Liam Jackson and Billobuckers, making this a five-act bill with plenty of opportunity to discover something new.

Hailing from York, Skylights blend indie rock, Britpop and alternative rock, pairing big guitars with melodic hooks and singalong choruses. Originally formed in 2008, they returned from a hiatus in 2017 and built a following through regular gigs in Leeds before releasing their debut album, What You Are, in 2022. With songwriting influences including The Stone Roses, The Cult and Feeder, their sound combines Britpop swagger with a heavier guitar edge, while tracks such as ‘Nothing Left to Say’ bring an emotional weight beneath the anthemic delivery.
