Matilda Shakes + support

Matilda Shakes head to The Victoria Inn in Derby on Friday 23 October 2026 as part of their UK tour, with special guests still to be announced. Hailing from Sheffield, the band deliver anthemic indie rock packed with driving guitars, big choruses and plenty of attitude. Their sound brings together the swagger of early Arctic Monkeys, the rhythmic punch of Kasabian and the melodic appeal of Catfish and the Bottlemen.

Having played sold-out headline shows and taken their music to festival stages including Tramlines, Matilda Shakes have built their reputation around energetic live performances. Their Derby stop offers the chance to catch that sound up close at the Vic, with a set aimed squarely at fans of loud guitars and a proper indie singalong.
