Canned Pineapple + The Blooms + Derventio

The Indie Night brings Canned Pineapple to The Victoria Inn in Derby on Friday 6 November 2026, with support from The Blooms and Derventio. Based in Brighton, the five-piece describe their sound as scuzz-pop, combining fuzzy guitars and power-pop hooks with the loose feel of slacker rock. Beneath the rough edges sit infectious melodies, playful lyrics and touches of psychedelia.

Their 2025 EP, Big Break, produced by Tom Rees of Buzzard Buzzard Buzzard, captures that mix of scrappy energy and melodic songwriting. With support from Radio X and BBC Radio 6 Music, Canned Pineapple bring their sound to the Vic alongside Derby alternative rock outfit The Blooms and fellow support act Derventio, making this a chance to discover a touring band while backing emerging talent.
