Masked metal insurgents President have joined forces with Ossett Brewery for one of the most striking music and beer collaborations of the year. Their new creation, King of Terrors, is a 7.2 % New England IPA that arrives just as the band’s debut EP of the same name hits streaming platforms, blurring the line between campaign and concert.

Brewed with Mosaic, Enigma and Sabro hops, King of Terrors is a hazy, juicy hit built for noise and chaos. It is available in 440 ml cans and a collector’s bundle that pairs a 12-pack with two custom “Mencia” glasses. Each can gives drinkers the chance to win signed A3 artwork, while bundle buyers enter a draw for tickets to an exclusive “campaign rally” show in Manchester, a clever continuation of President’s mock political worldbuilding.

The band’s visual identity, all masks, slogans and menace, finds a perfect partner in Ossett’s bold black and gold design. It is not just a gimmick either, as fans have already snapped up early stock, with bars across Yorkshire and Manchester pouring it on tap to coincide with the EP release.

For President, this is more than merch; it is an extension of their mythology. And for Ossett, it is a demonstration of how craft beer can fuel culture as much as it quenches thirst. King of Terrors is loud, immersive and unapologetically weird, just like the band behind it.
