By K Futur LOCALA man in his 50s has been arrested in connection with allegations of sexual assault said to have taken place on the set of BBC’s long-running soap opera EastEnders, according to The Sun newspaper.
The incident reportedly occurred at Elstree Studios in Hertfordshire, where the popular show is filmed. Hertfordshire Police confirmed that they received a report of an incident on Eldon Avenue, Borehamwood, on 7 May.
In a statement released this week, the force said: “A man in his 50s was arrested on suspicion of sexual assault and common assault. The arrest relates to two victims. He has since been released on police bail while enquiries continue.”
